The Caribruisers Roller Derby Leagues will be hosting the 24th Annual Polar Bear Swim. Originally this was an event the Williams Lake Rugby club put on for their own enjoyment. Over the past 23  years the event has evolved into a large community event and fundraiser for community sports and  programs alike  in Williams Lake

Our Team has met the challenge head on to pay full respects to not only the decade and half of hard work put in by the former group, but to make this a new annual event to be part of to promote youth activities and groups around our amazing community.  Our League has been part of our community since 2012 quietly making our way to be known for our strong role models in youth sports.  We have tripled in size and dedication and feel now is the time we can take on this endeavor and give back  for all the support by putting on a great event for everyone.

Without support from the community, events and programs such as this could not exist. It is obvious that our community values these programs because they are so successful year after year.

Since 2000 all funds raised by the participants have helped fund trips and other events for teams, elite players and less fortunate players alike.  The Caribruisers Roller Derby leagues plan to continue on the legacy and hold the Polar Bear Swim in the honor of the Rustlers, while showcasing our Roller Derby Leagues and Athletes alike.
